I have the passion and the flare to design spaces that stimulate the viewer and encourage a new interaction between design and people.
After studying Art and Design throughout both my school and college years, I completed an Art Foundation course at Northbrook College in Sussex. The course encouraged me to explore new techniques and to think outside the box. It enabled me to experience a number of disciplines including printing, sculpture and photography.
In 2010, I embarked on a design degree in Interior Architecture at Nottingham Trent University. The established course allowed me to thrive creatively, furthermore increasing my passion for the built environment. In the last three years, I have learnt the vital components of how to manipulate space and light, creating unique interventions and structures which would inspire an individual.
On my placement year (2012/13), I was fortunate enough to get a position with Hirsch Bedner Associates in London. HBA creates the signature looks of todays luxury brands, including resort spas, high-end residences, contemporary boutiques, restaurants and casinos. It provided me with a real insight into the professional practice of working with both clients and manufacturers and working alongside a design team, it enabled me to oversee a design project from brief to completion.
I am currently working at Herbert and Duncalf in London. They are a dynamic interiors, architecture and branding design practice, working on a number of unique projects which include restaurant, retail, residential and commercial sectors.
